Hello, I am David Redd, honored to be the President of Suncoast Fly Fishers. Having been born and raised in Dunedin, FL and living in Pinellas county all my life, fishing has been a passion of mine for as long as I can remember. My father and I spent countless hours on the water together. My father wasn’t a fly fisherman, but I always had a curiosity about it. I had tried some fly fishing in North Carolina where I had some amazing experiences and met some amazing people. However, in Florida, I felt kind of lost when it came to saltwater fly fishing. So one day a decided I needed to change that and looked for a fly fishing club. Low and behold, I found Suncoast Fly Fishers. That was several years ago, and just like in NC, I have had some amazing experiences and have met many amazing people. I found all I was looking for in SFF, I have improved my casting skills, my fly tying skills and continue to learn, meet people and experience new things to this day.
